Manchester Reed Trio are now Classical Babies regulars, and always great fun! They met whilst studying at the Royal Northern College of Music and are enjoying busy freelance careers throughout the country. The ensemble comprises oboe, clarinet and bassoon – the flexibility of this instrumentation leads to a varied and sonorous sound world, for which a vast array of repertoire has been written. The group also have a large number of arrangements, creating diversity and choice in their performances.
The trio work in many varied situations including recitals, educational and background music. They continue to develop their interest in the field of music and health, and I’m delighted to welcome them once more to Classical Babies Didsbury!
Home Community Cafe have been kind enough to offer all Classical Babies attendees 10% off their lunch at the cafe, so why not stick around for a bite to eat afterwards?
